Chapter 1
Kathryn Misses Her Family

One day aboard USS Voyager in Captain Janeway's quarters. Kathryn is passing back and forth. All of a sudden there's a knock on the door. Kathryn sighed.
“Come in.” Kathryn said.
The door opened and Chakotay walked in.
“What's wrong captain?” Chakotay asked.
“I miss my brother and his family especially my favourite niece Rachelle.” Kathryn answered.
“Tuvok to Captain Janeway.” Tuvok said.
“Go ahead Tuvok.” Kathryn replied.
“There's someone people that just beamed aboard and there are asking for you.” Tuvok said.
“I'm my way.” Kathryn replied.
Kathryn left her quarters and Chakotay followed. Kathryn spun around.
“Why are you following me Commander?” Kathryn asked.
“I have a feeling who the people are that want to see so I'm coming to see if I'm right.” Chakotay answered.
They both walked to the Transporter room. Kathryn gasped when she seen the people looking for her are her brother, his wife and her favourite niece.
“What are you three doing here?” Kathryn asked.
Kathryn's brother Morgan walked over and hugged his sister.
“We missed you sis.” Morgan answered.
Kathryn suddenly noticed a ring on Rachelle's ring finger.
“Where did you get the ring Rach?” Kathryn asked.
“I'm engaged Aunt Kathryn.” Rachelle answered.
“Who's the lucky guy?” Kathryn asked.
“The love of my life and his name is Grayson Bernier.” Rachelle answered.
“How did you meet him?” Kathryn asked.
“I met him through my friends Jesse and Shamus.” Rachelle answered.
Kathryn sighed. Chakotay.
“Are you alright Captain?” Chakotay asked.
“Yes I'm fine Commander.” Kathryn answered.
“Who are you?” Morgan asked.
“I'm Commander Chakotay.” Chakotay answered.
“Well it's nice to meet you and I'm Kathryn's brother Morgan.” Morgan said.
“I'm Morgan's wife Meagan.” Meagan replied.
“Hi, I'm Morgan and Meagan's daughter Rachelle.” Rachelle said.
Kathryn sighed. Rachelle took her aunt out of earshot.
“Why did you do that?” Kathryn asked.
“I want to know what's wrong with you.” Rachelle answered.
“Well, I don't feel like talking about.” Kathryn said.
Kathryn looked over at Chakotay. Chakotay looked at Kathryn and winked. Kathryn blushed. Rachelle smiled.
“Are you in love with Commander Chakotay?” Rachelle asked.
Kathryn sighed and nodded her head.
“Yes, but I won't put exactly that way.” Kathryn answered.
“How would you put Aunt Kathryn?” Rachelle asked.
“I'm completely and totally head over heels in love with Chakotay.” Kathryn answered.
“Why haven't you told him yet?” Rachelle asked.
“I'm too scared and I don't want to ruin our friendship.” Kathryn answered.
“You have to tell him soon before it takes you over.” Rachelle said.
“It's way too late for that because it already has but I'm gotten pretty at hiding it.” Kathryn replied.
They walked back over to where Rachelle's parents and Chakotay is. Chakotay smiled.
“Could I talk you alone Kathryn?” Chakotay asked.
“Yes, of course you can.” Kathryn answered.
They showed Rachelle and her parents to their quarters. They went back to Kathryn's quarters. Kathryn walked over to the window and looked out. Chakotay walked up behind Kathryn and wrapped his arms around. Kathryn gasped and turned. Chakotay leaned in and kissed Kathryn. Kathryn gasped. A few minutes later Chakotay broke the kiss.
“Kathryn Janeway, I'm madly and completely in love with you.” Chakotay said.
“You are?” Kathryn asked.
Chakotay nodded his head.
“Yes, I am.” Chakotay answered.
“I'm so glad to hear you say that because I feel the exact same way.” Kathryn said.
Chakotay smiled and pulled Kathryn into another kiss. A few minutes later Chakotay broke the kiss. Chakotay went to left but Kathryn caught his arm.
“Why did you do that?” Chakotay asked.
“I don't want you to leave so please stay.” Kathryn answered.
Chakotay smiled. Chakotay sat on Kathryn's bed and pulled her down beside him.
“Paris to Captain.” Tom said.
“Go ahead Paris.” Kathryn replied.
“Do you know why Commander Chakotay is at?” Tom asked.
Kathryn looked at Chakotay and he shook his head.
“I don't know where he is Lieutenant.” Kathryn answered.
“Alright than I'm sorry to bother you.” Tom said.
Chakotay sighed.
“Why didn't you want Tom to know you were hear?” Kathryn asked.
“I don't want to crew knowing about us just yet.” Chakotay answered.
Kathryn smiled a little. Kathryn sighed and laid her head on Chakotay's shoulder.
“Do you want to want to why I wanted you stay here?” Kathryn asked.
“Yes I do.” Chakotay answered.
Kathryn sighed.
“I haven't been feeling that great today and I was hoping you'd be here would help me feel better.” Kathryn said.
“Why haven't you got to the see the Doctor?” Chakotay asked.
“It's not that serious so I didn't any point.” Kathryn answered.
Kathryn sighed. Kathryn went to get up but fell back onto the bed.
“What's that all about?” Chakotay asked.
“I just got a dizzy spell because I got up too fast.” Kathryn answered.
Chakotay picked up Kathryn and walked over to the door.
“I'm taking you to see the Doctor.” Chakotay said.
Chakotay carried Kathryn to see the Doctor.
“Doctor online.” Chakotay said.
The Doctor suddenly appeared.
“What seams to be the problem Commander?” The Doctor asked.
“Captain Janeway just took a dizzy spell and she's hasn't been feeling that great today.” Chakotay answered.
“Would you lay her on the bed?” The Doctor asked.
“Yes of course.” Chakotay answered.
“Doctor to Kes. I need you here right away.” The Doctor said.
Kes came into the room. Kes looked at Captain Janeway.
Chakotay sighed. The Doctor and Kes started to exam.. Chakotay started to pace back and forth. The Doctor looked at Chakotay.
“What's your problem Commander?” The Doctor asked.
“I'm just worried about her.” Chakotay answered.
“Why are suddenly so worried about the Captain?” The Doctor asked.
“I don't want to talk about it.” Chakotay answered.
Kes smiled.
“He's in love with the Captain.” Kes said.
“How did you figured that out.” The Doctor asked.
“I can see the concern is his eyes.” Kes answered.
“Kes is totally right because I am love with the Captain.” Chakotay said.
The Doctor smiled a little.
“The Captain will be just fine with some sleep.” The Doctor said.
“What's wrong with her?” Chakotay asked.
'She's just over tried.” The Doctor answered.
Chakotay look Kathryn back to her quarters and went to leave.
“Please stay with me tonight Chakotay.” Kathryn said.
Chakotay laid on the bed and pulled Kathryn down beside him. Chakotay wrapped his arms around Kathryn and they fell asleep in each other's arms. Morgan and Meagan are sleeping in each other's embrace. Rachelle is bed dreaming of her fiancé Grayson.
