Chapter 1
Reunited Best Friends

One day aboard the USS Voyager Chakotay is looking sad. Chakotay sighed and Captain Janeway looked at him.
“What is wrong with you?” Captain Janeway asked.
“I really miss my best friend.” Chakotay answered.
“What is your best friend’s name?” Tuvok asked.
“My best friend’s name is Harmony Spenley.” Chakotay answered.
“Your best friend is a girl?” Harry asked.
“That’s right and I haven’t seen her in a really long time.” Chakotay answered.
“How long have you been friends with her?” Tuvok asked.
“I’ve been friends with since we were children.” Chakotay answered.
All of a sudden Neelix walked onto the bridge. Captain Janeway looked at Neelix.
“What would you like?” Captain Janeway asked.
“There are some new people just beamed onto the ship and one of them is asking to see Chakotay.” Neelix answered.
Chakotay walked to the beaming room and gasped.
“Is that you Harmony?” Chakotay asked.
“Yeah it is.” Harmony answered.
Chakotay walked over and hugged Chakotay.
“It’s really great to see you again.” Chakotay said.
Harmony smiled and hugged Chakotay back.
“It’s really great to see you too.” Harmony replied.
Captain Janeway walked into the beam room.
“I’m Captain Kathryn Janeway and welcome aboard the USS Voyager.” Captain Janeway said.
“Thanks Captain.” Harmony’s mother replied.
“Hi Captain, I’m Chakotay’s best friend Harmony Spenley and this is my family.” Harmony said.
“I’m Harmony’s mother Dominique Spenley and this man beside my husband Cameron.” Harmony’s mother replied.
“Who are the rest of these people with your parents?” Captain Janeway asked.
“These are my siblings.” Harmony answered.
“What are there names?” Captian Janeway asked.
“I’ll let them introduce themselves.” Harmony answered.
“Hi I’m Jeremiah.” Harmony’s first older brother said.
“I’m Jeremiah’s twin Theodore.” Harmony’s second older brother replied.
“I’m Nadia.” Harmony’s first older sister replied.
“Hi, I’m Colin.” Harmony’s third older brother said.
“I’m Camden.” Harmony’s fourth older brother replied.
“Hi Camden’s twin Alexander but please call me Alex.” Harmony’s fifth older brother said.
“Hi I’m Darius.” Harmony’s sixth older brother replied
“I’m Michelle.” Harmony’s second older sister said.
“Hi, I’m Michelle’s twin Makenna.” Harmony’s third older sister replied.
“I’m Sophia.” Harmony’s fourth older sister said.

Chakotay smiled a little.

“I’m Crystal.” Harmony’s thirteenth younger sister replied.
“Hi, I’m Crystal’s twin Darlene.” Harmony’s fourteen younger sister said.
“I’m Eden.” Harmony’s fifteenth younger sister replied.
“Hi, I’m Eden’s twin Eva.” Harmony’s sixteenth younger sister said.
Harmony smiled and picked up her last sister.
“This is my 2 year old sister Nia.” Harmony replied.
“Wow you have a really big family.” Captain Janeway said.
Harmony nodded and took Chakotay out of earshot.
“Why did you sigh when I said my older sister Caroline’s name?” Harmony asked.
Chakotay sighed.
“I’m in love with her that’s’ why and I have been for the longest time but I’m too shy to tell her for fear that she doesn’t feel the same way about me.” Chakotay answered.
“Would you like to find if she feels the same way?” Harmony asked.
“Yes I would but I don’t want her to find out that I like her.” Chakotay answered.
“Don’t worry I won’t let on that you like her.” Harmony said.
Chakotay smiled. Harmony walked over to Caroline.
“What would you like?” Caroline asked.
“I’d like to talk to you about someone.” Harmony answered.
“Who do you want to talk to me about?” Caroline asked.
“I want to talk to you about Chakotay.” Harmony answered.
“What about Chakotay?” Caroline asked.
“I’d like to know to know what you think of him.” Harmony answered.
Caroline sighed.
“Do I really have to?” Caroline asked.
“Yes you do.” Harmony answered.
“Does it have to be the truth?” Caroline asked.
“Yes it does.” Harmony answered.
“The truth is that I’m madly and completely in love with him but I’m way too shy to tell him.” Caroline said.
“How long have you been in love with him?” Harmony asked.
“I’ve been in love with each since the first moment I met years ago.” Caroline answered.
“Do you remember you first reaction when you met him?” Harmony asked.
“Yes I do just like it was yesterday.” Caroline answered.
~Flashback to when Harmony and her family first met Chakotay~
A younger Harmony is sitting on the steps of her house with head buried in her hands and she is crying. A handsome man walked over to Harmony.
“What’s matter young lady?” the man asked.
“I just found that a friend mine passed away.” Harmony answered.
“That’s terrible and I’m really sorry to hear that your friend passed away.” The man said.
“What’s your name?” Harmony asked.
“My name is Chakotay.” The man answered.
“Hi Chakotay, I’m Harmony Ruby Spenley.” Harmony said.
“It’s very nice to meet you Harmony.” Chakotay replied.
The next few weeks passed. Chakotay and Harmony become the best of friends. Chakotay is hanging out with Harmony. Harmony sighed.
“What’s wrong with you this time?” Chakotay asked.
“It’s nothing really but I’ve been telling my family about you and they really want to meet you.” Harmony answered.
“Well than let’s go so I can meet them.” Chakotay said.
Harmony smiled. Harmony and Chakotay walked to Harmony’s house. Harmony opened the door and they both walked in. Harmony’s mother Dominique walked over.
“Who is this handsome man?” Dominique asked.
“This is my friend Chakotay that I’ve been telling you about.” Harmony answered.
Harmony’s older sister Caroline walked into room. Caroline noticed Chakotay instantly and fell madly in love with him. Chakotay noticed Caroline and fell instantly in love with her. Harmony smiled.
“This is my older sister Caroline.” Harmony said.
Chakotay walked over to Caroline and kissed her hand.
“It’s an honor to meet such a beautiful woman and I’m Harmony’s friend Chakotay.” Chakotay replied.
Caroline smiled and blushed at same time.
~End of flashback~
“How come you’ve been keep it from all these years?” Harmony asked.
“I was keeping it from him because I was scared that if I told how I felt that he won’t feel the same way than I would feel like a complete fool.” Caroline answered.
“Well I think that you should go over there right now and tell him how you feel.” Harmony said.
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Caroline asked.
“Yes I am.” Harmony answered.
Caroline walked over to Chakotay.
“Hi Chakotay, it’s really good to see you again.” Caroline said.
“It’s really good to see again too.” Chakotay replied.
Caroline smiled.
“I’ve really missed you.” Caroline said.
Chakotay smiled.
“You have?” Chakotay asked.
Caroline smiled again.
“That’s right I have.” Caroline answered.
“I’ve really missed you too.” Chakotay said.
“There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for the longest time but I have been too shy.” Caroline replied.
“What’s that?” Chakotay asked.
“I’m in love with you.” Caroline answered.
“Really you are?” Chakotay asked.
“Yes really I am but if you don’t feel the same way that’s fine.” Caroline answered.
Caroline started to walk away but Chakotay grabbed her arm and stopped her from leaving. Chakotay pulled Caroline into his arms.
“You have it all wrong because the truth is that I’ve felt the same about you for since the first time I met you but I was scared that you didn’t feel the same way so I didn’t say anything.” Chakotay said.
Caroline smiled. Chakotay smiled too and tighten his grip on Caroline. A few hours later everyone is bed. Chakotay is dreaming about Caroline. Caroline is dreaming about Chakotay. Dominique and Cameron are sleeping in each other’s embrace. Harmony is dreaming about that she’s in love with named Gregory Bowery.
